Thompson Rome by Hyatt, the first Thompson-branded hotel in Italy, is preparing to open this spring in the heart of Rome. Housed in a 69-room building with a concept that blends urban energy and contemporary design, the new destination, designed by AG Group and Rossfin Group, is poised to become a reference point for Italian and international luxury and lifestyle clientele.
Located in the historic center, on Via delle Botteghe Oscure, overlooking Piazza Venezia and in an ideal position for reaching the most important attractions, Thompson Rome by Hyatt will enhance one of its most scenic features: the panoramic rooftop, designed to experience Rome from above.
Alongside the panoramic terrace, the project features a diverse gastronomic offering that combines innovation, atmosphere, and a desire for social interaction, aiming to establish itself as a new hub not only for hotel guests but also for the Roman public.
An innovative concept
Thompson Rome by Hyatt was born as a luxury lifestyle hotel. The brand's second in Europe after Madrid, it will be a benchmark for both the luxury and lifestyle segments, aiming to allow guests to experience and understand Roman culture from a fresh perspective, yet deeply rooted in the authenticity of the capital.
Completing the experience is a proposal that puts the hotel experience at the center: a panoramic rooftop and food & beverage meeting spaces, along with a range of personalized activities — from food and wine tours to tailor-made experiences — to help international guests discover a more authentic, contemporary, and memorable Rome.
Thompson's interiors will be sophisticated without ostentation, elegant yet profoundly familiar. Welcoming like a beloved home, beyond passing fads, never overly affected, never rigidly uniform. A rare balance between style and warmth.
The countdown has begun. Rome is preparing to discover a new address where contemporary luxury, lifestyle, and historical influences boldly coexist.
