How to Reach us and useful information

Thompson Rome is located in downtown Rome, on Via delle Botteghe Oscure 4, just steps from Piazza Venezia and within walking distance of many of Rome’s most iconic landmarks. Whether arriving by car, train or plane, the hotel is easily accessible from all major transportation hubs.

General Info

Thompson Rome is easily reachable by car from all main access roads into the city.

 

Please note that the historic center of Rome is part of the Limited Traffic Zone (ZTL). Guests arriving by car are advised to contact the hotel in advance for updated access information and assistance with directions.

 

From the Grande Raccordo Anulare (GRA) ring road, follow the signs toward the city center and continue toward Piazza Venezia. From there, Via delle Botteghe Oscure is located just a short distance away in Rome’s historic district.

The nearest recommended option is Parking Via Giulia, a secure private garage located within a short distance of the hotel and easily reachable by car. Additional private parking facilities are also available nearby.

Roma Termini Station
Approximately 10 minutes by taxi or around 20 minutes by public transport.

 

Roma Tiburtina Station
Approximately 15 minutes by taxi.

 

From both stations, guests can easily reach the hotel by taxi or public transportation. For a more comfortable and seamless arrival, our concierge team can arrange a private transfer or luxury limousine service (NCC) with a professional driver and premium amenities.

Rome is served by two international airports, both easily connected to the historic center.

 

Leonardo da Vinci International Airport – Fiumicino (FCO)
Approximately 35–40 minutes by car. The Leonardo Express train connects the airport with Roma Termini Station in about 32 minutes.

 

Ciampino Airport (CIA)
Approximately 30–35 minutes by car. Taxi and shuttle services operate regularly between the airport and the city center.
