Synergies and new openings: this is how AG Group aims to double its turnover

An integrated hub dedicated to hospitality, consulting, and inbound tourism. This marks the dawn of a new acceleration for AG Group, with the aim of strengthening the Group's presence along the entire value chain.

 

Founded by entrepreneur Andrea Girolami, AG Group is today a company entirely under Italian capital which, after over 25 years of activity, presents itself as a single platform in which the hotel management of AG Hotels, the international incoming of AG Boutique Journey and the consultancy of AG Hotel Consulting, operate, as three divisions, in a synergistic way, giving life to a model capable of combining customization and performance.

 


25 years of history
“We are in a new phase of our journey and today we present ourselves to the market with a different, more mature and integrated structure”, explains Girolami, summarizing the Group's evolution.

 

The company's entrepreneurial journey began in 2000 in the travel industry, with a consultative approach and a focus on international markets that led to a turnover of over €8 million in just a few years. A turning point came in 2011, when AG Group entered the hotel industry with a pioneering project in Rome's Termini station.

 

It was an area where no one was investing, but we chose to tell a different story of hospitality,” says the group’s president and CEO. “From there, the boutique hotel model in the historic center took shape, which will lead to the construction of 16 properties in Rome and one in Venice by 2018. In Rome, we dictated the rules of this new trend linked to small, large hotels located in the center, many of which are the result of conversions.”
