Rome is about to welcome a new international hospitality excellence: Thompson Rome by Hyatt, the first Thompson-branded hotel in Italy, will open this spring in the heart of the capital in an iconic building with 69 rooms and a concept that combines urban energy and contemporary design. The new destination, designed by AG Group and Gruppo Rossfin, is poised to become a reference point for a luxury and lifestyle clientele, both Italian and international.
Located in the heart of the historic center, on Via delle Botteghe Oscure, overlooking Piazza Venezia, a symbolic place of the city and in an ideal position for reaching the most important attractions – from the Colosseum to the Pantheon, up to the Trevi Fountain – Thompson Rome by Hyatt will enhance one of its most scenic features: the panoramic rooftop, designed to experience Rome from above, between aperitifs, cocktails and evenings with a cosmopolitan mood.
Alongside the panoramic terrace, the project features a diverse gastronomic offering that combines innovation, atmosphere, and a desire for sociability. It aims to establish itself as a new hub not only for hotel guests but also for the Roman public, eager for new and distinctive venues.
The hotel — the brand's second in Europe, after Madrid — will be a landmark for both the luxury and lifestyle segments, aiming to showcase Rome's culture from a fresh perspective, yet deeply rooted in the city's authenticity.
