For one weekend, the historic centre becomes the stage for the Guerra del Sale. Renaissance markets, flag-throwers and drummers animate the streets, while the Grand Historical Parade and the reenactment of the Battle of Torgiano bring the atmosphere of 1540 back to life.

At Borgo Tre Vaselle, the journey continues through the flavours of the land.

Begin with a welcome glass of local wine, wake to an artisan breakfast and, as evening falls, enjoy Il Convito dei Capitani at Le Melograne: a three-course dinner inspired by Renaissance recipes and paired with selected Umbrian wines.
